The Oregon Child Care Project (OCCP) coalition are all rooted in community organizing as a way to build power for communities of color.

OCCP has a history of bringing people impacted by a problem together, with the goal of creating a vision for the solution. This is something especially critical for child care.

These six organizations also have a long history of working together on a myriad of economic and racial justice issues facing Oregonians. They are skilled at developing sophisticated campaigns, and committed to leading with racial and gender justice values.
